The Hoswick series of workshops is back for Shetland Wool Week 2017, with a varied programme of classes organised by Elizabeth Johnston of Shetland Handspun and Niela Kalra of Nielanell.
This year’s programme sees world-renowned Shetland knitters, spinners and dyers teaching alongside visiting tutors Ruth Gough, Bonnie Lefebre, Maja Siska, Dj Stefek, Hadewych van der Werf and Laura West.
There's even non-woolly workshops: our photography and woodwork classes are back this year, by popular demand. And new for 2017 is our workshop with bookbinder Laura West. Plus there's our regular (free) drop-in clinics, and a local history talk and tour led by former weaver, Cecil Duncan.
All the classes take place in the friendly, village atmosphere of Hoswick on Shetland’s South Mainland.
