India meets Shetland in this soft, bouncy two-ply yarn.

The nicest Shetland fleece I have ever spun, the Shetland wool in this yarn is from Laurence Odie’s (of Hoswick Woolen Mill fame) croft in Yell.

I carded the fleece with the most precious Muga silk.  The shimmery, straw gold tones of this rare silk from Assam seem to bring out the shiny silvery grey lustre in the wool – unusual for a Shetland fleece.

I could make this forever.

We have two of these skeins, please let us know if you would like them both.  This yarn would look lovely knitted together with 'Of the Field'.
