hoswick paint jacket
A clever cut makes this slightly asymmetric jacket an interesting but very wearable piece. The lapels show the reverse of the fabric – a lovely ‘birdseye’ speckle.
Knitted in extra-fine merino, in a complex 5 colour jacquard, this jacket, from our 10th anniversary collection, is inspired by the colour and texture that surrounds the Nielanell studio in our home village of Hoswick, Shetland. The pattern features a detail based on hoppers – parts of fishing nets washed up on the shore.
Choose from sea greys or blues, highlighted with an almost-fluoro orange or yellow.
100% merino wool
One size: 61 cm (chest), 59cm (length)
We recommend that you hand wash using liquid or flakes. You may wish to wash in the machine on a very gentle handwash wool cycle at 30 degrees or less, using very little detergent specifically designed for delicate/wool items – but you need to ensure your washing machine uses a very gentle handwash wool cycle.
Do not wring.
Do not tumble dry.
Dry flat on a rack or in the fresh air, and steam/press lightly.
Alternatively you may dry clean the garment.
